EVAN
AARONSON
Director, Producer, Co-Writer
Primarly
known for comedy, Baggage was a bit
of a departure for Mr. Aaronson. He's been
called everything from "Charlie Rose on acid" to "Sartre on
laughing gas", to "Albert Brooks who
can't misfire." As a writer, producer, and commentator,
Aaronson has managed to spread
his quirky sensibility across a variety of
different mediums.
Recently, he was a series producer on a new television show
for The Fine Living Network
called Tricks of the Trade, and previously, he was
a writer/producer/director on The Discovery
Channel hit series, Monster Garage. Some of his other
television writing/producing credits include shows for the
Learning Channel, the Travel
Channel, and the WB. He was the creator and
star of two television pilots- one for Nucleus Interactive
called The Bigelow Tree and another
for Wirebreak Entertainment called Norman's Johnson.
In addition to Baggage, Aaronson has
produced another feature length film entitled, Nothing,
a mockumentary feature which he wrote
and starred in. It not only earned him positive
reviews from Roger Ebert and AOL Critics Choice, but it soon
became an underground hit.
Aaronson was also responsible for creating the
home video line for the publishing giant, Chicken Soup
for the Soul. In addition, he has had two of
his screenplays optioned by independent
producers, and he's directed an award winning
NYU student film (he also attended UC Berkeley),
as well as projects for The Negro Problem, Capitol Records'
The Kottonmouth Kings, Warner Brothers Records' The Used,
and Less Than Jake. His alter-ego, rapper/songwriter Wiggin,
had a song on a compilation record which included a track
by Christina Aguilerra.
Aaronson
has been featured on the nationally syndicated television
show, TV.com, as well as
CNET.com and the Virgin Megastore website.

the Scenes.
